András Bércesi-Hales teaches four things: one-to-one general English, preparation for the Hungarian English érettségi and international English exams, business English for individuals and company groups, and short intensive coaching for a negotiation or presentation in English. Lessons run in London and online.

General English built around you: your level, your goals, and a pace that suits you. We work on speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with the grammar and vocabulary that support them.

Focused preparation for school-leaving and language exams, including the Hungarian érettségi at B1 and B2 and the main international English exams. We work through the format, the timing, and the skills each paper tests.

For individuals and for groups inside a company. We work on the English your job actually asks of you, using material from your own industry rather than a general course book.

One-to-one work with business people preparing for a specific event: a negotiation, a presentation, a conference panel, or an interview in English.
We start with a conversation about what you want to be able to do in English and by when. The first lesson is partly an assessment: I need to hear you speak and see you write before I can plan anything useful.
After that, lessons usually run weekly, for 60 or 90 minutes. Between lessons you get work that is short enough to actually do. If you are preparing for an exam or an event with a fixed date, we work backwards from that date instead.
